I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too ambitious no doubt. I essentially researched the whole day i still haven't finished yet!

Unintentional Sabbath

I've never adhered to the rule about sabbath before but it's been something I've been thinking about. It so happens that my procrastination led me to a good day of rest today. Who knew procrastination could actually lead to something good?! Since I started sabbath-ing today, I've decided that I shall continue on, which means I'll study/work like crazy in the 6 days and rest on the Sunday.

Anyway, the idea of my unintentional sabbath-ing popped into my head while I was watching TV, so i decided to make a studying schedule. I've never really planned a study schedule this far ahead of time. I have 23 days (not counting today) until my first exam. I've throughly planned out what I'm going to study and on which day other then for one of my psychology courses. The prof for that course got into a biking accident so she's recovering still. In the last email she sent, she said that she'll let us know the plan for the remainder of the course. I'm assuming that it's changed just because of the way she phrased it. Plus, we've only covered just over half of what the original syllabus said we will.

Hopefully I'll stick to the plan and actually do what i planned out. It might be just a tad ambitious, but if it works out, it'll be awesome. (I completely finish studying for everything before my first exam starts, which means reading 4 textbooks plus the geo custom course package and all the additional reading in the span of 23 days! ) I forgot to add, I still have a paper due within about a week, but that's also planned out. (Also, quite ambitiously)

I don't know how He does it nor do I know why He does it, but all I know is that God is awesome and He's always there when I ask for His help no matter what. Gloria Dios!

I was "studying" but went downstairs just to procrastinate and my mom told me THE most ridiculous thing ever so i couldn't help but write about it. My sister's former tutor contacted my sister and asked if she wanted to tutor someone because she was too busy. (This sentence sounds terribly wrong but my brain's on the verge of turning into mush so i can't think properly) Never in the world would you ever guess how old the student is. NEVER! The tutee is a kindergartener. Kindergarten?!?! Who the heck would waste $20 on getting a tutor for their 5? year old?! I bet it's some crazy Chinese lady who wants her kid to stand out in his/her class. How do you even tutor a kindergartener. All you learn is how to share and play fair! Sometimes, you'd learn how to count and sing songs, but neither are tutor-able subjects! I just can't wrap my mind around the idea of a kindergartener being tutored. Absolutely insane.

Super random story

I've been racking my brains out studying almost the whole day, but I still feel like I'm going to do horrible on my exam. In frustration, I put my hand on my head and start grabbing/pulling my hair (bad? habit of mine) and for some reason, i felt this lump in my hair. Being curious, and of course wanting to get distracted from reading my notes any further, I pick out the piece of hair and cut it off. To my surprise, i found that string of hair tied in a perfect knot! People always talk about knotty and kinky hair, but i thought it was just a saying. Never actually knew that hair magically ties itself into a knot. Anyway, continuing on this theme of not wanting to study anymore, a particular incident fled to my head. Back in grade 3 or 4, I remember a friend of mine had this long lock? of hair. If i remember correctly, he called it a rat tail. So me and this other friend would always, for fun, tie a knot in his "tail." Quite funny, now i think about it. And i remember specifically one time that he got really ticked off with me because i tied up the bunch of hair soooo hard and that the knot was sooooo tight, that his mom couldn't even untie it, so he had to cut the end of it off. Opps. haha. And it's time to get back to the grind! What a great 5 minutes of rest.
